About the event

Since 1999, the International Working Dog Conference gives working dog professionals and our members the chance to explore and present the latest industry related advancements.

Initially held in San Antonio, Texas, the IWDC is now an international event – we have met in Australia, Belgium, South Africa, France, Canada and Sweden. The challenges of 2021 did not stop us and resulted in a successful virtual conference. We are thrilled to be hosting a physical conference again this year, at Fort Collins, Colorado.

 

Our Breeder’s Workshop event focuses on the most modern practices of health, care and behavioural assessment/development of working dogs. We are inviting a wider audience to this Breeder’s Workshop by establishing a program suitable for not only our regular guide, military/police, and assistance dog organization attendees, but also private sport and show breeders who seek the same high standard of care and breeding within their lines.

Our mission is to promote the betterment of working dog programs by offering educational materials and events such as this one, which focus on evidence-based research and practical outcomes for those within the industry.

How your sponsorship can help

As we are a non-profit organization, any funds received from sponsorship go directly to paying for the speakers, venue and hosting costs of the event. We would also like to record the event and provide digital access afterwards, and sponsorship will assist in this goal.

In addition to financial contributions, we hope our sponsors can help us communicate about the event to individuals or organizations within your network. Our marketing coordinator can discuss options that might be appropriate (and non-invasive) for your company, though examples include: sharing event details on your Facebook or Instagram or Linkedin; including a flyer or paragraph in your newsletter or email communications; or simply communicating about the event to your staff.
