Submissions of requested Abstracts for the 12th International Working Dog Conference, scheduled virtually Oct. 12-14, 2021, are beginning to arrive, featuring the international flavors that make our gatherings special.
So far, entrants from Australia, the UK, France, Southeast Asia and the United States have been registered, providing our Scientific Committee – IWDBA Board Members Bess Pierce, Hannes Slabbert and Eric Wilsson, an international trio as well – plenty to pour over as they build the IWDC 2021 program.
Speakers will be given a break on IWDC 2021 registration. Selected long presentations (30 minutes) receive complimentary registration. Selected short presentations (15 minutes) and Posters receive 50 percent off registration. We are accepting abstracts and posters through July 31.
Submit abstracts at https://www.iwdba.org/event/call-for-papers-deadline-31-july-2021/
The committee is also contacting potential plenary speakers for each day of the conference. There will be three days of live presentations. We appreciate the challenges of attending a virtual event and, according to Kathleen M. Kelsey of Working Dog Enterprises, our event planner, have designed an agenda to make this an enjoyable experience for all.
These will feature short sessions, plenty of breaks for Emails and ample time for Q&A – 10 minutes for long presentations and 5 minutes for short presentations for discussions with speakers. Recordings of all presentations will remain on-line for 90 days if an attendee cannot attend a certain session live.
Early Bird registration – at a low $249 – is available through July 31 as well, On-line registration can be found at https://www.iwdba.org, https://cvent.me/ZbyEGa or on our Facebook page.
