This video is part of our Early Socialization program.

Puppies must be weighed regularly from birth, so we should make that experience as positive as possible.

This is the first time puppies will experience handling from humans, so keeping it positive is essential. Bringing the scale into the den, making sure the litter is nearby for support, and handling the puppy correctly are all helpful when building and maintaining positive associations to weighing.
